ABOUT US

For the first thousand years there were no large-scale divisions the body of Christ . In those days several different rites, or ways of doing the Divine Service were celebrated in the Church. After the Roman Pontiff broke away in AD 1054 the Western rites began to change.

Holy Trinity is part of the Russian Orthodox Church, and practices the old Western Rite as it was celebrated all those centuries ago.

OUR VISION

Our mandate was given to us by our Lord through his disciples: “Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you.” Matt. 28:19-20

WHAT WE DO

Until the Lord leads us to a place of our own, we gather on Sunday to celebrate the Divine Service in our Priest's home with his bride of 20 years and their four lovely children. We then share fellowship in a common meal after the Liturgy.

OUR COMMUNITY

Holy Trinity is a community of Orthodox Christians seeking to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its entirety to all people in the Wiregrass area of Southeast Alabama, inviting them to come and see.
